Deleted Files

Have you ever deleted a file and asked a system administrator to help you get it back. In Linux this can be difficult. Sometimes the file can be recovered, but sometimes it is gone. If you do a good job at backing the system up you will probably have a recent copy of the directory. Unfortunately, people tend to lose files they are working on. Sometimes the files are not in the backup or they have been modified signifigantly since the last backup.
